Growing up we were always seeking adventure. First it was skating on the streets then to shredding the slopes. Kieta was conceived with the invention of the ski cloak.

After a hefty day of snowboarding, hefty meaning a dual urgent care visit for a bruised bone and a hairline fracture, we piled up in front of Paul's fireplace with his Rottweiler, Bella, sketching out our idea for the Snow Cloak... no Skloak... eh... Snoak? We all mutually agreed that those were TERRIBLE names.

"Paul... what if we name it Kieta?" Jake exclaimed. Kieta means "disappeared" or "vanished" in Japanese. It's a name Paul's always loved. We later developed the cloak and the rest is history;
